Diving Report 6/20/15 and 6/21/15

Had some fun on the water over the weekend and got some nice fish.
Saturday - We got a big Cobia, an African Pompano, a few small Kings, and a nice Cero.
Sunday - We got a smaller Cobia, a big Mangrove (about 10lbs), an A.J., a few Kings, and a small Dolphin.

Thanks Morgan for the awesome pictures. Check out more of Morgan's work at:

This fish comes with a story.
I was driving and Morgan was getting his camera gear situated while my brother (Nick) and Taylor were diving looking to shoot a couple of Cuda for us to use as bait. My brother and Taylor each shoot a Cuda and while they're dealing with that, a big Bull shark moved in and Taylor shouts to me that the shark is holding some nice Cobia. So I grab my mask, fins, and gun and hopped in. I swam down and got a good shot in the biggest fish. Then Taylor was there to place a quick 2nd shot to secure the fish.

Once we regrouped, we hopped back in the water with hopes of finding that shark again. Well, that didn't happen, but Taylor did find a nice African Pompano to invite home with us.

Here is one of a few small Kings we got.

And a nice Cero Mackerel that Nick shot to finish off the day.

There is a shot of the cooler on Sunday. One big Mangrove next to one small Dolphin next to one OK Cobia.

Sean Hooked up on Bruce.

Nick with a nice A.J. that followed the snapper up.

Cobia eggs, fry 'em up just like chicken eggs.

Fishing Report 06/13/15

It was a rough and very long ride out, but we made it out there and had a fun day. We got a few Cobia, some small Dolphin, and lost a bigger dolphin (hook and line).
Thanks Brad from Gaff Magazine for taking pictures and sending them to me. It was a fun day on the water.

Test Run on the New Boat Fishing Report 6/7/15

We went out to do some Bull shark diving and fishing today. However, we couldn't find many sharks today; so we switched over to do some bottom fishing. We caught a few small snapper, AJs, and Cobia when out of nowhere a 20lb bull Dolphin was right behind the boat. I tossed a live bait to him while Taylor got his dive gear on to try to feed him some steel.  While Taylor was putting on his fins, sneaky Nick grabbed a mask, slid in the water (with no fins) and got an awesome shot on the Dolphin. We didn't crush it, but it was still a good day with Nick F., Nick A., Taylor, and Kyle.

We decided to give Nick a pair of fins and take a picture of his fish.

Taylor was there to put a quick 2nd shot in for a quick kill.
